In My Mailbox #1

Happy Friday! What are your plans for the weekend? I'm going to spend my weekend reading and reviewing books.

I received two book mails yesterday. They are all review copies, and I'm really excited to start reading them!

I got The Pendant trilogy by Sarena and Sasha Nanua. This trilogy consists of The Gemstone, The King's Jewel, and The Poisoned Emerald. Thanks to iUniverse publishing for sending me these. I can't wait to dive into this Fantasy world.

The second mail was from the author herself. I got The Dreamer by E.J. Mellow. It's a signed copy along with a really cute message written inside! That's so sweet of her! Thank you, Ms. Mellow!

I also ordered a few books from Book Outlet two days ago. Haha, I just can't resist buying books! I'm really happy that I'd finally own them. They have been on my TBR list since such a long time!

Have a great weekend! xx

Review: Meant To Be by Lauren Morrill

Title: Meant To Be
Author: Lauren Morrill
Pages: 304
Format: E-book
Publisher: Delacorte Books for Young Readers
Released: November 13th, 2012

Synopsis

It's one thing to fall head over heels into a puddle of hazelnut coffee, and quite another to fall for the—gasp—wrong guy. Straight-A junior Julia may be accident prone, but she's queen of following rules and being prepared. That's why she keeps a pencil sharpener in her purse and a pocket Shakespeare in her, well, pocket. And that's also why she's chosen Mark Bixford, her childhood crush, as her MTB ("meant to be").

But this spring break, Julia's rules are about to get defenestrated (SAT word: to be thrown from a window) when she's partnered with her personal nemesis, class-clown Jason, on a school trip to London. After one wild party, Julia starts receiving romantic texts . . . from an unknown number! Jason promises to help discover the identity of her mysterious new suitor if she agrees to break a few rules along the way. And thus begins a wild goose chase through London, leading Julia closer and closer to the
biggest surprise of all: true love.
Because sometimes the things you least expect are the most meant to be.

My Most Anticipated Reads of 2015

Hi there! Sorry, I haven't updated my blog since a long time. But I'm back now! :) I'd be posting more often.

I'm currently reading Since You've Been Gone and A Wind in the Door. I really like SYBG so far; however, A Wind in the Door is very uninteresting. I just can't bring myself into reading it. It might be because the plot is very slow, or that the book didn't meet my high expectations. I had liked A Wrinkle in Time (book #1 in the series) so much, and I really wanted to continue reading the whole series. But now, I don't think I'd read it any further.

Today I would show you guys my most anticipated reads of 2015. I'm dying to read these books! Some of them are on my June TBR list as well.
