Victor and Eli started out as college roommates—brilliant, arrogant, lonely boys who recognized the same sharpness and ambition in each other. In their senior year, a shared research interest in adrenaline, near-death experiences, and seemingly supernatural events reveals an intriguing possibility: that under the right conditions, someone could develop extraordinary abilities.
But when their thesis moves from the academic to the experimental, things go horribly wrong. Ten years later, Victor breaks out of prison, determined to catch up to his old friend (now foe), aided by a young girl whose reserved nature obscures a stunning ability. Meanwhile, Eli is on a mission to eradicate every other super-powered person that he can find—aside from his sidekick, an enigmatic woman with an unbreakable will.
Armed with terrible power on both sides, driven by the memory of betrayal and loss, the archnemeses have set a course for revenge—but who will be left alive at the end?

Top 5 Books of 2015!
Hey everyone! Nina here! You may have forgotten about me. It’s
been a super long while since I’ve done a post here. I sincerely apologize—life
including schoolwork and etc. just love to get in the way of my bookish
responsibilities. If you follow me on Instagram then you
probably already saw my Top 5 Favorite books of 2015. I thought I would do a
more in-depth post about why I chose each of those books. So here we go!!
1. The
Queen of Zombie Hearts by Gena Showalter
This is the third
installment in The White Rabbit Chronicles. We’ve already been introduced to
all of the characters and we meet a few new ones as well. What can I say? This
book was crazy, weird, heart-warming, intense, and SO emotional to sum up
within a few words. I absolutely loved every moment of it. The action started right
at the beginning, which I usually don’t prefer but because it was the third
book in the series I definitely understood why it was done. I loved the romance
and not just the main characters. EVERY single couple in this book pulled at
the heartstrings. And that ending?! What was that?? It completely wrecked me. I
got emotional even towards the “side” characters; but Showalter creates a believable
story with believable characters. Characters who are so well-developed and put together
that you never forget about them. And you want the absolute best for them
because they are so real to you and in real life of course you never want anyone
to get hurt. All in all, this novel was incredible. I totally recommend it. And
it definitely deserves to be #1 on my list.

Holiday Book Recommendations
Christmas is right around the corner! That means it's time to snuggle up in bed with a cup of hot cocoa... and, of course, a good book! I've made a list of books that are perfect to read during the holiday season. Let me know if you've read any of these, and whether you liked it or not. (:
Let it Snow by John Green, Maureen Johnson, and Lauren Myracle
Sparkling white snowdrifts, beautiful presents wrapped in ribbons, and multicolored lights glittering in the night through the falling snow. A Christmas Eve snowstorm transforms one small town into a romantic haven, the kind you see only in movies. Well, kinda. After all, a cold and wet hike from a stranded train through the middle of nowhere would not normally end with a delicious kiss from a charming stranger. And no one would think that a trip to the Waffle House through four feet of snow would lead to love with an old friend. Or that the way back to true love begins with a painfully early morning shift at Starbucks.
Thanks to three of today’s bestselling teen authors—John Green, Maureen Johnson, and Lauren Myracle—the magic of the holidays shines on these hilarious and charming interconnected tales of love, romance, and breathtaking kisses.
This book sounds so cute! It's definitely on my winter TBR.
Dash & Lily's Book of Dares by Rachel Cohn & David Levithan
