Caleb desperately needs a new fake girlfriend. And sadly the last unattached girl in his social circle has just made the grievous mistake of falling in love with him. Fortunately, Didi, the waitress at the Country Club— who just lost her job due to Caleb's too-public breakup — is open to new experiences (and art supplies are expensive!). No Love Allowed is a light and fun summer read. I found the overall story really sweet; though, I felt like the beginning was a bit slow. I couldn't relate to the characters that much, which somewhat decreased my level of enjoyment.

But, as I finished the first half of the book, it started to get interesting. I found myself flipping the pages faster! I wanted to know what would happen next in the story.

I really liked Didi as a main character for No Love Allowed. She brings a lot of humor to the book. She is really sweet and caring. Her actions are not very well thought out, which makes the book even more enjoyable. It was admirable how she wasn’t afraid to stand up and say what was in her mind.

I also adored Caleb. Even though he's this rich guy who doesn't believe in love, he was easy to like. I liked how he never expected to develop feelings himself, and it was sweet the way he was bowled over by Didi. There were a few really cute moments when he seemed to get attracted towards her, and also found himself jealous when she talked about other boys in front of him.

The story made me laugh a lot. It was really funny, but there was also a serious side to it because of Didi's condition. I really liked that. The author did a great job writing this book in third person's perspective. The readers get to know a lot more about the characters and the basic storyline that way. 

The romance was really cute. Both the characters seemed like a good fit for each other. They had a great chemistry, and I think they deserved that "happily ever after" ending after what all they'd been through. Though, I found it a bit predictable. It was kind of obvious to me from the beginning itself.

But overall, No Love Allowed is a cute story, and I really enjoyed reading it. I'd recommend it to everyone who's looking for a fun contemporary novel!
